Katunayaka Airport - Kandy
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcomed by your chauffeur-guide and transferred to Kandy, where your Pekoe adventure begins; on arrival, check in and relax, followed by an overnight stay at Oak Ray Regency Hotel or a similar hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Kandy - Loolkandura
Trek Stage 1: 12.8 km from the Ceylon Tea Museum through Hanthana Tea Estate to Galaha, visiting Kithulmulla village; overnight at Rockbourne Bungalow. Stage 2: 14.7 km from Galaha to Loolkandura, passing markets, pine trails, and Sri Lanka’s first tea plantation, then return to overnight at Oak Ray Regency or similar (B&B).

Loolkandura - Thalawatenne
Stage 3 covers an 18 km trek from Loolkandura Estate along historic tea trails on the old Dimbula Road, offering panoramic views of Kotmale Valley, the Rilagala mountains, and the shimmering Kotmale Reservoir. Descend past Ramboda Pass and its waterfall, ending in the lively town of Tawalantenne, followed by an overnight stay at Oak Ray Regency or a similar hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Thalawatenne - Pundaluoya
Stage 4 features a 14 km trek from Tawalantenne through village roads, rice paddies, and tea estates. Cross Ramboda Oya with views of Ramboda Falls, enjoy sights of Kotmale Reservoir and Kadadora Viharaya, and follow old British-engineered roads past an abandoned tea factory, concluding in the charming town of Pundaluoya. From Farr Inn, descend 14.9 km via the steep Devil’s Staircase toward Ohiya, passing remote villages, hidden valleys, abandoned tea factories, and terraced farms, with sweeping views to Udawalawe and the distant coast on clear days, concluding at Udaweriya. Horton Plains - Haputale
