You will be picked-up from by a tuk-tuk from your hotel in Colombo by your personal tour guide and proceed to the starting point of the lake fishing tour.

You will be taken to a lake jetty in Bolgoda to start your fishing tour with the Beyond Escapes team using provided gear. Bolgoda Lake, Sri Lanka’s largest natural lake, is a rich biodiversity hotspot home to diverse fish and wildlife, making it ideal for eco-tourism. Enjoy fishing sessions where you may catch species like Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Trevally, and Barracuda. Afterwards, head to a small island in the lake for a BBQ dinner under the stars, creating a memorable lakeside experience.
